Biographical Information
Al Pounders is an American artist. He earned his certificate from the Albright Art School in Buffalo, New York, in 1952. He earned his Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in 1956 from the University of Buffalo in Buffalo, New York. In 1959 he earned his Master of Fine Arts degree from Cornell University in Ithaca, New York. He became Professor Emeritus of Painting at Purdue University in West Lafayette, Indiana. He has been featured in art showes, galleries, and exhibitions throughout New York City, Italy, and throughout the United States.
