Scope and Contents
The collection includes materials created or collected by Sallie May Glick during her time as a student at Purdue University and document her academics and personal interests at the time. Materials include her specimen book from a botany course with Professor Sarah Oren, grade report, program from a Purdue event, and tickets and playbills for the Thalian Dramatic Club performances where Glick was a cast member.

Biographical Information
Sallie May Glick attended Purdue University from 1876-1879. She was one of the earliest women students at the university and took a botany course under Professor Sarah Oren, Purdue's first female faculty member. Her family was related to John Purdue and the McCutcheons.
Sallie May Glick was born in 1860 in Romney, Indiana. She was the daughter of Dr. Elias B. Glick, who served as mayor of Lafayette for two terms in the late 1800s. Her mother's name is unknown. She is one of three children: Benjamin, Sallie (or Sarah), and Clara (or Callie). Sallie Glick married John Prosser, a nephew of John Purdue, and they had three children together. Sallie and John lived in Devil's Lake, North Dakota. She died on April 28, 1937 in Sarasota, Florida.

Custodial History
Materials were located in a folder together with materials in MSS 35, Glick and Prosser family papers, which contain annotations and a transcript by one of Sallie M. Glick Prosser's children.
Acquisition Information
Source and date of acquisition are unknown. Materials were located in the Archives and Special Collections in 2017.
Processing Information
Materials were rehoused in acid-free folders and boxes. Papers exclusively related/belonging to Sallie M. Glick were separated from family papers and described as their own collection.
