Biographical / Historical

Purdue Orientation Programs was formed in 1999 to manage the growing Boiler Gold Rush orientation program. Since its creation Orientation Programs has helped connect new undergraduate students to Purdue University. Boiler Gold Rush, Boiler Gold Rush International, Boiler Cold Rush, Summer Transition, Advising, and Registration (STAR), and Purdue 101 and 102 have all been managed by Orientation Programs.

Collection transfered by Abby Molzer, Program Coordinator of Orientation Programs, on April 30, 2024.

Processing Information

The original order of the materials has been retained whenever possible. The DVDs were imaged and placed into the Purdue Archives digital repository. Access copies were created by converting/normalizing the DVDS into MP4 files for greater research accessibility.
