Biographical / Historical
Purdue Space Day was started in 1996 as an outreach program for elementary and middle school students. The Space Day curriculum is focused on STEM and aeronautic education. The program is organized and run by Purdue University students. One of the highlights of Purdue Space Day are the presentations given by current and former astronauts.
