Historical Information
WBAA is one of two radio stations owned by Purdue University. It was licensed on April 22, 1923, but Purdue operated a radio station as early as 1910 as a weak, infant broadcasting unit with 21 watts. “The Voice of Purdue” has become its nickname over the years.
