WWII was a global war that began in Europe in 1939 and lasted until 1945. The United States entered the war in December of 1941.

Acquisition Information

Exact date and source of acquisition for the marjority of materials are unknown. The file "Purdue Goes to War and Poultry School on the Air" was donated in 2006 by James M. Turley.

Processing Information

Items were removed from a miscellaneous box and made into a collection. Rusted staples were removed. Documents were reviewed and placed in plastic sleeve. Collection was rehoused in a communal box.
