Historical Information
The Purdue Residence Hall Council was founded to encourage cohesion and cooperation between the many different residence halls on campus. The Council also functioned to provide students with a voice in the decisions making process concerning the residence halls. Members of the Council were all required to be student residents of the Purdue Residence Halls. Each residence hall was allowed to appoint two members.

Acquisition Information
Materials transferred with the Harrison Hall records from Purdue University Residences on July 1, 2016.
Processing Information
Materials were removed from plastic binders and housed in acid-free folders. Staples and paper clips were removed.
