Scope and Contents

The Marshall A. Martin agricultural oral history interviews (1993; 0.2 cubic feet) includes three DVDs containing five interviews with prominent regional and national figures in the field of agriculture.  The five individuals interviewed are Earl Butz, Jim Moseley, Robert Thompson, Don Paarlberg, and Will Erwin.  The interviews were created for a senior level agricultural policy class at Purdue University, School of Agriculture in the Department of Agricultural Economics under the direction of Marshall A. Martin.  Each interview opens with a few words about the interviewee’s Purdue connection, goes on to discuss their involvement with agricultural policy, and closes with comments about career opportunities for students.  The type of material is DVD files
