Joseph Modrey papers
Scope and Contents
The Joseph Modrey Papers document Professor Modrey's undergraduate and postgraduate mechanical engineering classes and research at Purdue University from the mid-1960s to the mid-1980s and include Modrey's research and reports regarding the use of creativity in the field of mechanical engineering. Biographical Information
Joseph Modrey (1916-2005) joined Purdue University's Mechanical Engineering faculty in 1965. He earned a BSME in 1937 and a MSME in 1983 from Columbia University. In 1964, Modrey received his doctorate in engineering at Rensselaer Polytechnic. Modrey retired in 1986 with the title of Professor Emeritus.
