Scope and Contents

From the Sub-Series:

This sub-series consists of materials related to Donald Heirman’s contributions to the American National Standards Institute (ANSI), which he came involved with in 1981 as a member of the ANSI ASC C63. He was a principal contributor and writer of numerous standards, including ANSI C63.7 Construction of Open Area Test Sites for Making Radiated Emission Measurements. He also served as chairman for Subcommittee 5 on Immunity Standards for Home Entertainment Equipment, as well as for Subcommittee 1 on Techniques and Developments for EMC Measurements.

Later, he joined the US National Committee (USNC) and became a member of numerous US Technical Advisory Groups (TAGs). He was the USNC Group Manager for Electromagnetics, where he was responsible for CISPR, TC77, TC1, TC3, TC25, and TC106 proceedings. In 2000, he was elected to the USNC Technical Management Committee (TMC), a position he remained in until his passing in 2020. This sub-series contains meeting minutes, correspondence, presentations, and conference proceedings.
