Scope and Contents
The Photographs series contains photos Cable took of the Purdue campus and participants in the G. E. Fellowships in Mathematics for Secondary School Teachers in 1955.
There are 30, 5" x 3 ½" photographs of the Purdue campus and the participants of the G.E. Mathematics Fellowship. These include shots of Hovde Hall, Residence Hall "X", the Recitation Building, smokestack, ENAD, Elliott Hall of Music, Memorial Union, outside shots of campus, Cary Quad,... the Lambert Fieldhouse, University Hall, a building being built and photographs of participants of the G.E. Mathematics Fellowship.
Also included are six 5 ½" x 3 ½" postcards; aerial shots of campus and Ross Ade Stadium, resident hall "X", outside shot of the Elliott Hall of Music, and two outdoor shots of the Memorial Union.
Participants of the G.E. Mathematics Fellowship are featured in four 5 ½" x 3 ½" photographs and one 9 1/2" x 7" photo. There are no identifying names noted on the photographs.
