From the Sub-Series: This sub-series contains patents assigned to or collected by Benjamin Miessner. It includes patents for Miessner’s inventions; patents granted to Miessner’s company, Miessner Inventions, Inc.; and other inventors’ patents that Miessner collected and referenced when working on his own inventions.

Types of inventions for which there are patents include but are not limited to electronic musical instruments, fountain pens, and smoking devices.
