This series consists of correspondence about Moran or collected by him. It includes a letter sent by then New York Governor Theodore Roosevelt to Indiana Governor James A. Mount; a notice of Moran's opportunity to join the Phi Beta Kappa society; and two letters between Trenton High School (New Jersey) principal William Wetzel and Purdue University Board of Trustees Vice President William Stuart about Moran's candidacy to fill the Office of the President at John Hopkins University.
