Scope and Contents
Elmer Jr was an excellent writer who frequently wrote to his family, which is evident in this series. He wrote to his parents, sister, and aunt from his several locations; Purdue University, Fort Benjamin Harrison, Fort Sill, Camp Roberta, Camp Beale, liasion flying school in Kansas, Camp Cooke, New York, France, and Germany. This series is separated into three subseries; to his parents, to his sister, and to Miss Ethel Kern.
