Some of the earliest material found in this sub-series is; article (photocopied) from Weekly Journal of Practical Information, Art, Science, Mechanics, Chemistry, and Manufactures, author unknown, May 14, 1892 (about Purdue's Practical Mechanics Laboratory); Article (photocopies) from Scientific American, author unknown, May 11, 1895 (about the Purdue Engineering Laboratories); Article and Memo from Dean of Engineering, A.A. Potter, in reference to: "Essentials of a Satisfactory Student," by Assistant Professor of Structural Engineering, H. Malcom Priest, 1923; seventeen articles by Purdue Engineering and Other Faculty, circa 1930s.
