Scope and Contents

Dr. Gene Simmons was Chief Scientist of the Manned Spacecraft Center in Houston for two years. He was the Principal Investigator of an Apollo 17 experiment to measure the surface electrical properties of the Moon. This poster contains information about this aspect of the mission.

A print by Jerry Elmore is part of the oversized informational poster. Elmore was a Johnson Space Center artist. The print illustrats the topographical layout of the Taurus-Littrow landing site of the Apollo 17 lunar landing mission.
