Scope and Contents

The first letter from July 9, 1945 was to the Dean of Agriculture and Textile School at Perdue University, West Lafayette, Indiana. The letter consists of wanting to know information of experiments or studies of the national hemp industry. Sent from Dr. J. P. Bonner, Ass’s Chief Engineering Division, Office of defense Plants. The reply letter is to Dr. Bonner on July 12, 1945. H. J. Reed dean and director replies that there has not been any research and they do not have the funds to do so.
