Scope and Contents
This series is comprised of Purdue Athletics historical information, records, regulations and conference rules from the late 1800s-1930s. There are The Boilermaker Letterman newsletters from the 1940s, special Exponent sports issues from the 1960s and issues of Gold & Black Illustrated from 1991 and 2005-2008. A collector set of 5 Purdue Pete bobble heads featuring the various designs of Purdue Pete from 1956-2016 also reside within this series.
This series also contains brochures, a handbook and guides related to Purdue Intramural Athletics and from the Division of Recreational Sports, circa the 1800s-2005.
