Scope and Contents

From the Series: Within the series are unique advertisements featuring women aviators taken from the October 1943 issue of Ladies Home Journal. The ads are for R.J. Reynolds Tobacco (Camel™ cigarettes) and Cutex™ fingernail polish.

Also found here are four articles written by Kruper for Woman Pilot, along with three book reviews she wrote for the Minerva Center for Women and the Military: The Minerva Center, Incorporated is a non-profit educational foundation founded in 1983 to provide information and inspiration to military women and women veterans and supported scholars, journalists, filmmakers, public policy activists and others engaged in the study of women and war.

This series also contains a small booklet about the Women Airforce Service Pilots (WASP), often referred to as "flygirls," and a Smithsonian National Air and Space Museum 2015 member calendar.
