From the Sub-Series: After serving with NASA, Bridges became Commander of the 6510th Test Wing at Edwards AFB, California, where he served from May 1986 to March 1989. This sub-series is comprised of brochures, correspondence, guides, and pamphlets. Also contained in this sub-series are working files while Bridges was Commander; "STAN/EVAL Inspections," - information on the inspections in 1987 and 1988 while Bridges was the Wing Commander, "6510 TW Reorg," - briefing and a memo on the reorganization and renaming of the 6510th Test Wing, 1988, "Safety: Policy," "Test Issues," various briefings, memos and articles on the subject of conducting Air Force test operations efficiently and safely, circa 1988 - 1993, along with other documents.
