Scope and Contents

This series consists of materials that document Donald Heirman’s work as the president of Don HEIRMAN Consultants, a consulting firm Heirman established in the late 1980s, but began developing proceeding his retirement from Bell Laboratories in 1997. He provided electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) training and education consultancy. In this role, he organized EMC workshops and training all over the U.S., provided training on standardization processes employed by IEEE, IEC, and CISPR, and offered guidance on how to become involved in standards development activities. This series includes correspondence, work reports, workshop presentations, and conference proceedings.
