Scope and Contents

This sub-series consists of technical photographs of the various X-aircraft and the support vehicles used in the launch and flight of super-sonic jets. Included among the X-15 photos are portraits of Armstrong in his flight suit and posed with the X-15 that he piloted, as well as group shots of the X-15 personnel.
