Includes one portrait of Oscar W. "Ozzie" Luetkemeier. Mr. Luetkemeier worked for Purdue from 1949 – 1986 as the Agronomy Farm Supervisor. He served as superintendent of the Purdue Agronomy Farm, supervising the multiplication of no less than 90 varieties of breeders’ seed and soybeans, wheat oats, barley and crambe. He served on the board of directors for the Indiana Crop Improvement Association and the Indiana Forage Council. In 1983, he received the Frederick L. Hovde Award for Excellence in Educational Service to Rural People of Indiana.
