Gilbreth Library Collection from the Industrial Engineering and Management (now Civil Engineering) Department at Purdue University.   Grissom Hall is being renovated and will re-open in 2015.   Materials relating to the Gilbreth's were transferred to Archives and Special Collections to preserve and supplement the existing collection. Materials received from the Gilbreth Library (Civil Engineering Department) in Grissom Hall.  Items include: 2 framed photographs, 1 framed description/letter titled:  "The Lillian Moller Gilbreth Papers Come to the Purdue University Libraries", 2 framed posters [oversized], 1 glazed porcelain plate  with the writing "Nalkas [Gini] Hand Made in Turkey 4  17"  on the back, 3 wooden artifacts (whitled by Frank), 8 cubic feet boxes containing mostly films and 2.50 mss. boxes housing publications and papers.  Boxes include 4 VHS tapes. 1 cubic ft. box containing 1 time piece/extra large clock used in the Gilbreth's efficiency research.

Inventory

See preliminary inventory below. Films in Boxes 10 and 11 were sent for digitization. Due to their extremely poor condition, the originals will not be retained. As such, there is no longer a Box 11.
