One cubic foot box of Phillip K. Tompkins' correspondence, research files, interview files and permissions, notes, and publications related to his work in the field of industrial communications in complex and high risk operations. Includes materials related to work he did as a summer faculty appointment at NASA's Marshall Space Flight Center during the summer of 1967 and 1968. Includes correspondence with Walter Wiesman, one of the original group of Peenemunde veterans who came to the United States in 1945. Includes letters and reports to Werner von Braun. Material also include Marshall Space Flight Center internal communications manuals, descriptive packets, reports, guides, pamphlets, and Tompkins' interviews with NASA employees and permission documents.
