The contents are related to Colwell's consulting services, employment or involvement with organizations such as the National Science Foundation and National Academies of Sciences, or with corporations, her attendance at events, conferences, and symposiums, work-related travel, and research with other institutions or persons, in other countries, and on topics such as cholera, infectious diseases, bio-terrorism, policy, microbiology, climate change, genomics, scientific history, science and technology, and on institutions and persons such as the International Centre for Diarrhoeal Disease Research, Bangladesh and Henry I. Miller.
