Robbins, Charles Kendall, 1888-1967

Biographical Information

Charles Kendall Robbins was a native of Angelica, New York, and a graduate of Hobart College. He earned his M.S. in Mathematics from Harvard University in 1913 and joined the Purdue University faculty in 1914. He remained at Purdue for the rest of his career, becoming an emeritus faculty member upon his retirement in 1958. In both 1943 and 1944 Robbins won the Sigma Delta Chi award for best teacher.
