biographical information

Marie Agnes Tilson received her AB from Butler in 1910, and an MS in 1914 form the University of Chicago. She went on to eventually earn her PhD. Tilson was an Assistant Professor of Home Economics Education at Purdue University. Later, she served as a Specialist in Parent Education at the Merrill Palmer School in the University of Michigan system. She published Problems of Preschool Children: A Basis for Parental Education.
