Biographical Information
Chalmers Joseph Zufall was a native of Frankfort, Indiana, who graduated from Purdue University with a B.S. in Biology in 1907 and an M.S. in 1914. He specialized in botany and pharmacognosy in university and government settings before returning to Purdue in 1921 as an instructor and later Professor in Materia Medica.
