Biographical Information

Theodora Andrews was born October 14, 1921 in Carrol County. She graduated from West Lafayette High School in 1939 and became a library assistant at Purdue University in 1945. After receiving her Master’s degree in Library Science in 1955, Andrews became a librarian at Purdue and then served as the School of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences librarian. Andrews was an active member of the Special Libraries Association at the state and national level, as well as the Medical Library Association. She was named Professor Emerita of Library Science following her retirement.
