Biographical Information

Saul I. Gass received his BS in education and MA in mathematics from Boston University in 1949 and a PhD in engineering science from the University of California, Berkeley in 1965. Throughout his career, Gass worked for the US Air Force, IBM Corporation, the University of Maryland as a professor in the College of Business and Management, and other managerial positions within the mathematics and engineering fields. As a project manager at IBM, Gass assisted in the computational and data-flow system of Project Mercury.
