Biographical Information

Helen Gould was a Purdue University student from 1922-1926 and studied family housing and equipment. While at Purdue, she was a member of Kappa Alpha Theta. Although there is no official record of her graduating, materials contained within her papers indicate that she was still a student at Purdue in the spring of 1926. Originally from Marion, Indiana, she later married fellow student Jerry Raffensperger. She later became a librarian and historian in Henry, Illinois and published many articles and a book on the history of Henry, Illinois. Gould died on February 28, 2000.
