Biographical Information

Alexandra Cornelius was a graduate student in history at Purdue University in the early 1990s. In 1993 she began researching African-American history at Purdue for the Office of Diversity and Multicultural Affairs. Cornelius graduated from Purdue with a M.A. in 1994. She went on to get a Ph.D. from Washington University in 2006.
