Biographical Information
Orlo William Bond was an executive for the Standard Oil Company in India for 28 years. During his tenure at Standard Oil, he met Amelia Earhart and Fred Noonan during their 1937 World Flight on their stop in Karachi India.
Bond married Marjorie Stickney and they three daughters, Marjorie, Diana, and Barbara.
In 1950, Bond and his family moved to Rockford, Illinois to pursue a position as Admissions Director at Rockford College.
