Biographical Information

Harriet Jane Gooden Potter worked for Purdue University residence halls. Potter was born to Elizabeth and [James?] Gooden in Indiana on October 22, 1904. She grew up near Robert's Corner and lived in a farmhouse during her childhood. On December 2, 1945, she married Robert L. Potter. She worked for Purdue University in various residence halls from 1943 to 1964, and lived in Elston, Indiana while she was working at Purdue. Harriet Potter died on February 13, 1972 and is buried in Sickler Cemetery in Tippecanoe County.
