Biographical Information
Schilling was born in Bloomington, Indiana. He earned his bachelor's degree from Indiana University in 1940, Juris Doctor from University of Michigan Law School in 1943, and a master's degree from Purdue University in 1975. He served in World War II. He worked as legal counsel for Purdue University from 1950 to 1977.
