Biographical Information
Mahurin was born in Benton Harbor, Michigan. He graduated from high school in 1979. He got a job from one of the fraternity houses by replacing the Fratella cards in the telephones for $1.25 a week. The Fratella card was a fraternity-telephone-card and it listed the telephone numbers of all the fraternity and sorority houses. He began at Purdue in General Engineering. He was a United States Air Force officer. He served during World War II and served in the U.S. Army Air Forces as a flying ace. He was the only U.S.
