Humnicky, Michael S.

Michael S. Humnicky graduated from Purdue with BS in Physics in 1970 and a BS in Economics in 1971. He would later go on to work as a Data Management Analyst for Rockwell's International Space Division, as an R&D engineer and Engineering Specialist for Ford Aerospace, and as an Operations Analyst and Systems Engineer for Lockheed Martin. In the past, he has donated to Purdue's Physics department.

Scope and Contents The Bell Solar Energy Experiment Kit developed by Purdue alumnus, William E. Taylor, was one of the kits designed for classroom use by students who had demonstrated high scientific aptitudes. Program materials were distributed to high schools by the local Bell System telephone companies. The pamphlets, books and manuals that came with the kits were written by Bell Telephone employees who had Ph.Ds.  The pamphlet in this kit was written by D.M. Chaplin.
