Biographical Information
Tamara Morse is a Purdue alum, graduating with a Bachelor of Education (1965), Master of Education (1968), and Master in Business Administration from the Krannert School of Management (1978). She is the founder and manager of Morse Financial Group, an investment advisory practice. Morse has served as president of the Purdue Alumni Association and is a lifetime member of the association and a member of the Purdue President's Council.
Tamara Eleanor Morse was born on February 4, 1943 to Frederick B. Morse and Eleanor Arkell Morse. Morse attended Purdue University and graduated with a Bachelor of Education in 1965, with distinction; a Master of Education in 1968, with highest distinction; and a Master of Business Administration from the Krannert School of Management in 1978. In 1986, she founded the Morse Financial Group, an investment advistory practice, of which she is the owner and manager.
Morse has been heavily involved at Purdue since her graduation. She has served as the director of the Krannert School Alumni Association (1993-1997), president of the Purdue Club of Puget Sound in Washington (1994-1999), president of the Purdue Alumni Association (2003-2005), a member of the Development Council of the Purdue Foundation (2009-2013), and chair of the Women's Archives Development Council in Purdue Libraries (2010-2013). She has been a lifetime member of the Purdue Alumni Association since 1967 and a member of the President's Council since 1968.
Morse has also earned many awards from Purdue University such as the Krannert School of Management Distinguished Alumna Award (1999), Special Boilermaker Award (2003), College of Education Distinguished Alumna Award (2005), and the Title IX Distinguished Service Award (2012).
