Biographical Information
Byron Anderson was born in Winchester, Indiana on September 20, 1926. He served in the U.S. Navy Air Corps during World War II. Anderson received his degree from Purdue in 1948 in Aeronautical Engineering. During his career he served as the president of both the Housing Board of Directors of the Kappa Signma fraternity and the Purdue Alumni Association. Anderson was a member of the Purdue University Board of Trustees for 14 years and also served on the President's Council.
