Biographical Information
David A. Studebaker, born September 25, 1942, was one of the first students of computer science at Purdue, taking a non-credit Fortran II class in late 1962, around the time the Computer Science department was being established. He was a student worker in the Purdue Computing Center from 1963 to 1965. As a student teaching assistant, he taught two classes for Professor Donn Novotny. David graduated in 1965 with a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering, having taken the CS courses then available at Purdue. He has worked in software development since graduation.
