Biographical Information

Charles H. Lawshe was born in Swayzee, Indiana. He earned his B.S. degree from Purdue University in 1929 and his M.S. degree from University of Michigan in 1954. He worked as a professor of Industrial Psychology at Purdue University, assistant dean of the Purdue Graduate School, Dean of the School of Technology at Purdue University, Vice President for Regional Campus Administration for Purdue University, and was named Vice President in the Krannert School of Industrial Administration in 1975. He wrote several books regarding industrial psychology. He served as part of the Board of Directors for Indiana Higher Education Telecommunication System and a member of the Board of Directors for Indianapolis Center for Advanced Research.
