Biographical Information
Taber was the first female full Professor in the College of Technology at Purdue. The interview covers her teaching at Cuyahoga Community College in Cleveland, Ohio prior to coming to Purdue University in 1979 to join the Faculty of the department of Electrical Engineering Technology [EET]. Her regard for the education of students is shown through her contributions to student scholarships at institutions where she did undergraduate work and graduate work as well as at Purdue University. In post retirement she volunteers at a local center to teach adults to use computers.
