Historical Information
The Service Annex and Central Machine Shop was built on the south end of campus. It was funded by the Federal Works Administration along with many other buildings. It was acquired from the Vigo Ordnance Plant and was a transite storage building. This building was reduced in size in 1997 as part of a plan to relocate the Facilities Service operation to south of the main campus. This made room for more academic buildings on the southern edge of campus. The building was torn down completely in 2012 to make room for Lyles-Porter Hall.
