Historical Information

The original Schowe House was built in 1929 by J.C. Allen. Then, in 1990, the house was purchased by Purdue Professor Kent Fuchs and his wife, Linda. The couple added a west wing to the house and made other improvements. Later, in June 2003, alumni Tom and Anne Schowe purchased the home to live closer to Purdue while their daughter Christina was attending the university. Finally, in 2009, the house became the new center for Purdue's Global Policy Research Institute. The cost and square footage of the home is unknown.
