Historical Information

The Ross-Ade Stadium Locker Room was constructed on the southwest corner of the stadium to provide meeting and dressing areas for entire football teams. When the original locker rooms were constructed in Ross-Ade stadium in 1924 they were only made to accommodate 33 players and several coaches. When this locker room was constructed, teams had 80-100 players with multiple coaches and medical staff. The building included locker and shower facilities, a toilet room, a training room, and a medical office. The locker room is also used for visiting track and baseball teams. The cost of constructing this locker room as well as remodeling the home team locker room under the East stands of the stadium was $554,000.
