Historical Information

Originally called the Visitor Information Center, the Purdue Graduate Student Center is located in the Northwestern Avenue Parking Garage. When it was built, it housed the parking activities for staff and visitors. In January 2013, the visitor center moved to room 110 in the Purdue Memorial Union so that they could be right "at the front door" of Purdue for all of the campuses visitors. This portion of the Northwestern Avenue Parking Garage now houses the Purdue Graduate Student Center. This center is home to the Purdue Graduate Student Government, the Black Graduate Student Association, and has office space for graduate student legal services.
