Historical Information

The Purdue Panhellenic Association was founded in 1917. This long-standing organization at Purdue University represents 21 women's fraternities and sororities. Panhellenic is a self-governing body, with representatives from each of the member organizations. The mission of the Panhellenic Association is to promote academic excellence and promote involvement in Greek life. To achieve these goals, Panhellennic works on chapter and leadership development, scholarship, philanthropy and community service, member education, alumni involvement, and public relations.
