Historical Information

Originally called the head house, the Life Science Plant and Soils Laboratory was built with the life science building (now the Lily Hall of Life Sciences), the Life Science Ranges, and the Life Science Animal Building. It originally housed the Departments of Biological Science, Animal Husbandry, Botany, and Plant Pathology and Agronomy. The building was renamed the The Life Science Plant and Soils Laboratory in 1952.
