Historical Information
The Latino Cultural Center building was originally located at 600 N. Russell Street, West Lafayette, Indiana. It was a center for Hispanic and Latin Culture and was a place where students could go for support, mentorship, and friendship. It provided programs ranging from lectures to entertainment and was open to all Purdue students, faculty, and staff. In 2017, the Latino Cultural Center vacated the building on Russell Street and relocated to 426 Waldron Street. The original building was planned to be replaced with a parking lot.
